EAU CLAIRE, WI - December 15, 2011: Two among the most successful real estate brokerages in the Chippewa Valley have joined forces. CEO Bruce Hayhoe, Jr. of Woods & Water Realty, Inc., an industry leader in residential real estate, is pleased to announce the company has acquired Prudential Benrud Realty.
The acquisition more than doubles Woods & Water Realty's market share and creates a regional powerhouse having a sales team of 28 agents with offices in Eau Claire, Chippewa Falls, and the Blue Diamond area.

Woods & Water Realty will open its newest location at 3610 Oakwood Mall Drive on January 3, 2012. The current Prudential Benrud Realty office on Golf Road will close.
The two companies have a solid history of serving northwest Wisconsin's real estate needs. Woods & Water Realty was founded in 1988 by Bruce Hayhoe Sr. and is run by his son, Bruce Hayhoe Jr. today. Prudential Benrud Realty was initially founded in 1974 by Michael Benrud and has been since operated by his daughter and son-in-law, Jim and Jennifer Rooney. Both companies have been recognized locally and regionally with several prestigious awards.
